Every calculator on Rupeemeter gives an estimate based on the official rules we have recorded and the assumptions shown on the page. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or insurance advice. Your actual tax, salary, returns or cover need can differ.
Tax and salary
Tax results follow the Income-tax Act, 2025, the Finance Act, 2026 and the Income-tax Rules, 2026 for tax year 2026-27, as recorded on the dates shown on the methodology page. Salary results depend on assumptions about your salary structure that may not match your employer’s. Check your payslip, Form 16 and the official sources before filing a return.
Investments
Investment calculators use a constant return that you choose. Returns on market-linked investments are not guaranteed, can be negative, and past returns do not predict future returns. We do not recommend any fund, stock or scheme.
Loans
Loan results assume one fixed rate and exclude fees, charges and insurance. Your lender’s schedule is final.
Insurance
Insurance tools estimate a cover amount from your inputs and our stated assumptions. They are not quotes, do not show premiums, and are not advice on any insurer or policy.
Errors
If you find an error, please tell us with the calculator, your inputs and the result you expected. We correct confirmed errors and record rule changes on the changelog.
